Hi everyone, and welcome to my corner! Lately, I keep getting messages from friends who wanted to try working from home. Some of them used to work in an office-based company and they've been struggling from wanting to be able to take care of their kids on their own and wanting to help with the family finances. There are some with bachelor's degree but has never worked at all because they've become a full-time house wife. And those without kids, not married, but are just so sick and tired of the lousy management from their work place. I know it can be very frustrating when you can’t have the best of both worlds. Being all single and kids-free is not that fun too if you cannot support your hobbies, but your own clothes, eat wherever you want. It sucks to still be asking money from your parents when you’ve reach adulthood you know. You know somewhere deep inside, you are searching for that purpose. But you did not want to get stuck inside that four corners of an air-conditioned room waiting for the time to hit five o’clock and go home. Now, four years ago, I swear I could remember, that I would not have given a single care about the internet. I work in call centre eight hours a day, five days a week. During my rest days, I would go out with friends or spend time with my kids, or sleep. I am satisfied with just browsing my Facebook newsfeed seeing how my friends has been doing with their lives. I could place a comment on a friend’s status, or sometimes not at all when I realize it doesn’t matter. I could post my selfie and be thrilled with all the likes I get. That plain and simple. Later did I realize that the internet will change my life. That there will come a time when I cannot imagine my life with an internet connection. Because one day, I will just be stuck at home. Become a full time Mom, caring and supportive wife, but still practice my skills and earn money from online freelancing jobs. So, I would like to share with you all the real deal about working from home. We will talk about the things that you need to do to prepare for this epic journey.
