We have to start somewhere!

When we wanted to do something, and it’s been eating us for days, we pause and ask ourselves, where do I begin? And then you realize that you’re not a hundred percent sure if this will work. Next thing you know, you’re already doubting yourself and you’re losing sight of your awesome skills. Such a waste, right? I have friends asking me questions like, is working from home a stable source of income? do you really think that I can do it? I feel like I’m not fit for the job. This is normal. But I can only answer so much. Seriously, how will you know if you won’t give it a try?

I think that we all will agree when I say that we do almost everything for our family. I mean, the main reason why we wanted to earn money is to make sure that our love ones won’t starve right? And we get to provide them good food, comfortable shelter and presentable clothing. Do you still recall those days when you were just a little kid just waiting for your parents to give what you need, or even what you want? It was such a comforting memory to drift off to, right? No responsibilities, no stress, no pressures from anyone. All you had to do is eat whatever it is that was offered in the dining table. Go to school and play and sleep. As for me, I may not have lived a luxurious life, but I was a hundred percent sure that my parents did everything they could to provide for me and my siblings.

To be honest though, there were times during my younger years when I would ask myself, don’t I deserve more? This happens when I see my friends getting signature clothes, expensive shoes and latest gadgets. Tell you what, I only get to have new stuff during my birthdays or Christmas. I grew up not whining about how I only get to wear cheap clothes, shoes and other stuff.

As time pass, when I became an adult, had my own family and a career, I swore to myself that I will give my children the things that I didn’t have when I was young. So, I worked hard to earn money. Seeing my children’s’ happy faces whenever I buy them stuff is a lot more rewarding than anything else in the world.
